The Apostle Paul in writing to Timothy said in the last days some would depart from the faith. The message Paul is conveying here is that believers would forsake, walk away from their faith in Jesus. This is an alarming statement and somewhat difficult to understand why someone would walk away. Paul said one of the reasons would be because of doctrines that were inspired by demonic spirits. He called it doctrines of devils, doctrines meaning false teachings that replaces sound biblical truth. This should be taken as a serious warning for our time and not to be shrugged off. One of the false teachings that has gained momentum is the gospel of inclusion. It’s difficult for me to call it gospel because it’s not good news. None the less that’s what it has been called for some time. The heart of the message is God is big enough to include everyone regardless how they live or what they worship. The opinions may vary among those who are preaching it but it still contains the same destructive results. The teaching includes there are many ways to God and the one that works for you is acceptable with God. I had recently watched an interview with one of those who preach this message and he clearly stated this is what he believes even making mention of Adolph Hitler having made heaven. Although the bible teaches that Jesus is the only way to God and there are no alternate routes. This man who once preached Jesus now preaches the gospel of inclusion. He once had thousands attending his meetings with national recognition, but has lost it all. This is clearly a doctrine of devils that has the potential of derailing those who will give an ear to hear. He has departed from the faith which can only be found in Jesus and no other.
