Influence by Love

Ever consider what methods we use to influence the world around us. Paul said in Romans 2:4 Do you despise the riches of his goodness and forebearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads to repentance?
All to often we overlook the reason why God sent Jesus to the earth, which John 3:16 clearly states it was because of love. Not to condemn but save through the expression of love to mankind. Jesus said there's no greater love than laying down ones life for his friends John 15:13. Our efforts of influence should always be prompted by love as God's was for us. Without it we are missing the redemptive power of God as Paul said "goodness leads to repentance." We can major on the immorality of our day and use that to witness, but leave out love and become religious. As the body of Christ we are the dispensers of the love of God on the earth.
Let's not underestimate the power of love........
